print-screen-HysysSplitting refers to the process of breaking down the C7+ fraction into a number of pseudo-components.

We will see in this tutorial how to split C7+ into pseudo-components using Hysys when we have only the specific gravity and the molecular weight of the C7+ as data.

Split C7+ into pseudo-components in six step:

  • ...
  • Split C7+ into pseudo components (Cuts)
  • ...
  • ...
  • ...
  • Define the composition of your Feed

This tutorial is really helpful. Splitting C7+ is a hard thing to deal, especially if you you have to break it to 40 components.

Great job.
Keep going.

Quoting jatinder:
how do you get mole fraction of C7 = .276 at (3.14)

The fraction of C7+ (0.276) in the feed is already known. As we have seen the molar composition of the Feed stream is given as data (Time: 00:13).

This tutorial is wonderful. Splitting C7+ into pseudo-componen ts is explained in such a wonderful manner. I am really Thankful to process-simulat for adding such a wonderful and important topic.
